The Joey'z water pitcher filter meets NSF372 certification requirements for being lead-free. Each filter purifies 40 gallons and lasts about 2 months.

• HOW TO USE - STEP 1: Soak the Joey'z/Compatible Brita water filter replacement in clean water for 5 minutes. Step 2: Insert the filter into your water purifier pitcher and press it into place securely. There should be a full seal between the filter and pitcher. Step 3: Discard the first liter of water filtered with any new filter. This filter is for purifying tap water and should not be used with saltwater or contaminated water.
• HOW THESE FILTERS WORK: The filters have a 4-stage filtration process. STEP 1: Water passes through PP MESH to remove suspended particles. STEP 2: ACTIVATED CARBON removes chlorine and other dissolved substances for improved taste. STEP 3: ION EXCHANGE RESIN removes heavy metals, minerals, and limescale.
